Measurements & Analysis of Aerobiological Distribution Causing Nosocomial Infections
This white paper explains how (HVAC) systems substantially impact the building climate and the spread of airborne contaminants within a health care facility. Discussion is also regarding current commissioning and retro-commissioning procedures for HVAC systems and their limitations when using existing measurement techniques, allowing most systems to operate at a substantially lower level of efficiency and performance than their intended design. The end results are deficient indoor climate control, poor indoor air quality (IAQ) that impact HAI rates. To overcome these issues more accurate airflow measurement methods are required to diagnose and resolve these problems.
