This white papers discussion is on duct sealing, indoor air quality (IAQ) and efficiency. Duct integrity is very important when it comes to conditioning, providing proper air flow for ideal indoor air quality, and maintaining or achieving an energy efficient system.

Utilizing the time-stepped enthalpy method is discussed in this paper while showing the benefits as presented throughout this paper. The challenges presented to the time-stepped enthalpy method are detailed, and compared to other methods of testing.
